At the helm of our company stands George, the visionary founder and owner. George’s journey into the world of ocean transportation and seafaring vessels commenced at the tender age of 14, when he embarked on his educational voyage at Maritime High School. A decade later, he proudly earned his Master’s Degree in Marine Engineering and Maritime Transportation from The Maritime University Constanta.
With an impressive 25 years of combined experience in the Maritime Transportation Industry and its intricate regulations, George’s expertise was cultivated through a diverse array of roles. He sailed the high seas as Chief Officer aboard Container, Bulk Carrier, and General Cargo vessels, served in the esteemed U.S. Coast Guard, and later transitioned into the role of a Marine Cargo Surveyor.
George’s proficiency as a seasoned Surveyor encompasses a wide spectrum of specialized skills. From complex Break Bulk Cargo and Heavy Lifts assessments to precise Draft Surveys and assessments of Ship’s Stability, he navigates it all with precision and professionalism. His knowledge extends to the intricacies of the IMSBC Code, Stowage and Segregation of Dangerous Cargo, IMDG Code, Safety Management Systems, Break Bulk and Heavy Lifts Cargo, CSS Code, Various Flag State Annual Safety inspections, Damaged Cargo Claims, and Investigation, as well as ISM Internal Audits.
